- Cardiorespiratory physiotherapy
Funding:
Physiotherapy services are recognised and funded by the NDIS as an essential component of allied health support.
NDIS participants may access physiotherapy services under the Improved Daily Living category.
However, for physiotherapy to be covered by the NDIS, the pain being addressed must be caused by a disability rather than other conditions.
This means that eligible individuals can receive funding to cover the costs of physiotherapy assessments, treatment sessions, and necessary equipment or aids.
Pain Management:
Living with chronic pain can be challenging, affecting both physical and emotional well-being.
Our physiotherapy team specialises in pain management and can develop personalised treatment plans to alleviate pain and improve your overall function.
We utilise a multimodal approach that may include:
- Manual Therapy Techniques:
- Our therapists employ hands-on techniques such as mobilisations, soft tissue massage, and joint manipulation to reduce pain and improve joint mobility.
- Exercise Rehabilitation:
- We design customised exercise programs to strengthen muscles, improve flexibility, and promote pain relief. These exercises can be adapted to your abilities and preferences.
- Hydrotherapy:
- Water-based exercises can reduce pain, enhance mobility, and facilitate rehabilitation
